As a group we chose a number of songs from various genres that we listened to all together, before narrowing it down to 1 song each to work on for a few research tasks, before finally choosing a final track.
After carefully considering and rough planning for our video, we decided to go with the suggestion of 'Careless' by Royal Blood. The lyrics to the song are very good, and would be effect to create a video for. They also have a distinct style in their exciting videos that sticks within the conventions of their genre, making it clearer for us to stick to and recreate their brand image. Their music is also something we all enjoy, and the song has the potential to be listened to and analysed many times, meaning we won't get tired of it any time soon.
